Now 82, Andretti remains the only driver to have won the F1 World Championship (1978), US open wheel championship (1965, 1966, 1969, 1984), Indy 500 (1969), and Daytona 500 (1967). One name who is wrongly overshadowed by some is Mario Andretti - probably the most successful racing driver there is. Michael Schumacher perhaps for galvanising Ferrari or Lewis Hamilton re-writing the record books in the modern day - but then what could the great Jim Clark or Ayrton Senna gone onto achieve had they not been cut down in their prime? When it comes to the debate around the so-called 'Greatest of All-Time' in motorsport/Formula 1, there are the usual suspects near the top of the list.
